  • What is a Money First Aid training course?
    The user-friendly, online training course is created by financial experts with industry and training experience, and is designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to assist their colleagues in overcoming financial difficulties, and helping to create a supportive and understanding work environment. The training is designed to be relevant for any workplace, regardless of industry or profession, across the UK. No prior knowledge is required.
  • Who is the course for?
    This course is suitable for all employees, in any work environment, across the UK. HR, wellbeing champions, mental health first aiders and people managers are often attracted to this training. No prerequisite knowledge or training is required.
  • How do I become a Money First Aider®?
    To become a Money First Aider® you need to complete our online Money First Aider® course.
  • How long does the Money First Aider® course take?
    The course takes 2-3 hours to complete. It is self-study so you can split your training over as many different sessions as you wish, for example 15 minutes at a time or during a lunch break at work. Your course progress is saved as you make your way through the training. You’re free to learn entirely at your own pace, but we recommend completing over a couple of weeks once you get started.
  • How is the course delivered?
    Our course is 100% online. It consists of modules with exercises throughout. After completing every module, the learner will need to complete a multiple choice assessment in order to attain their certificate. There’s no pressure, however; if unsuccessful at first, the learner can retake the assessment at no extra charge. Additionally, the course material will remain available to revisit as many times as necessary.
  • If I fail the course assessment, can I do it again?
    Yes. If you don’t pass, don’t worry. You can retake the assessment at no extra charge. You can also review the content again to refresh your knowledge before retaking the assessment.
  • Does the course explain that Money First Aiders® cannot give financial advice?
    We have a module within the course that explains what Money First Aiders® can NOT do. This includes an explanation of what financial advice is, and the boundaries of the Money First Aider role.   • When will I receive my certificate?
    You will receive your certificate via email normally within 24 hours after full completion of the course, providing that your training has been fully paid for.
  • Which devices does your training course work on?
    You can access our course on any electronic device as long as you have an internet connection. This means you can train anywhere, using your smartphone, iPad or laptop!
  • Is your course accredited?
    Yes, our course is certified by CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
  • How many CPD points will I get after completing your training?
    You typically gain 1 CPD point per hour of study. As our course takes approximately 3 hours you will achieve 3 CPD points.
  • Can I access the training material after I have completed my course?
    Yes. You can use your username and password to log in and revisit the training material as many times as you like, even after completing the course. We also email all certified Money First Aiders when we make updates to the course, so you can stay up to date.
  • Is there a time limit on completing the course?
    No, we want our course to work around you so there’s no time limit in which you must complete the training after making a purchase. It is self-study so you can split your training over as many different sessions as you wish, for example 15 minutes at a time or during a lunch break at work.   • I don’t live in the UK; can I still take a course?
    Yes, our course can be taken from anywhere in the world, as long as you have a device with an internet connection. However, the course contains references to UK legislation, and resources and services only available in the UK, so it may not be suitable for you if you are living outside the UK.
  • Do you offer bespoke courses?
    Yes. If you are looking for bespoke courses for your business please contact us at support@moneyfirstaid.net.
  • How do I access the training I've just purchased?
    After completing your purchase, you will get immediate access to the course. You should have also received a confirmation email which was sent to the email address entered at the time of payment. If you haven’t received this, please check your junk/spam folder. If you still cannot find it, email us at support@moneyfirstaid.net. To access the course, simply click the ‘Access Course’ button within this email.
  • Where do I log in?
    You can login via the email you received at the time of purchase by clicking the ‘Access course’ button. You can also login via this link.
  • I’ve forgotten my password.
    If you've forgotten your password you can request a password reset via the login page. If you are unable to resolve the issue this way you can contact: support@moneyfirstaid.net.
  • Is the course available in multiple languages?
    Given the course is all online, it is possible for the learner to translate the content into their preferred language using the translation feature on their internet browser. We can show you how to do this on a call if required.
  • Do you offer discounts if we are buying for an organisation?
    Yes, if you want to purchase the course for multiple employees we do offer a discount. Contact us at support@moneyfirstaid.net for more information. Or book a call to discuss further.
  • How do I buy for multiple employees?

  • How can I buy a course for myself?
    To purchase a course for yourself, you can simply click the ‘Book now’ button at the top right of any page on our website. Once you have completed the purchase you will receive an email containing instructions on how to access your course.
  • How can I buy training for my employees?
    You can purchase training for your employees by emailing support@moneyfirstaid.net. You can also book a call with us to discuss over the phone. Please tell us how many people you would like to access the training and we can send you an invoice for payment. We can then provide you with the link for your employees to access the training.
  • Can I purchase one course to train all of my employees?
    Our courses can only be used per person and therefore you would need to purchase a course for each of the staff members required to undergo the training.
  • How much does the Money First Aider® training cost?
    It is £99 per learner. Discounts are available if you are purchasing the course for multiple learners.
  • What payment options are available?
    If you are buying for one learner you can pay for our training using either a Debit or Credit card. Just follow the 'Book now' process in the top right corner of our website. If you would like to buy the course for multiple learners you will pay by invoice. We can then send a link and introductory email to share with multiple learners.
